The Ambassador’s Wife is the first in the Inspector Samuel Tay series by Jake Needham. It is free right now at Kindle US and UK. I’ve read and enjoyed a couple of Needham’s Jack Shepherd titles, but not any of the ones in this series, so this has reminded me that I’ve got this one to try
