If you’ve somehow missed trying Martin Walker’s Bruno, Chief of Police series, now’s your chance – an omnibus of the first three books in the series is on sale in the US for $4.99, which is less than $2 a book if you need all three. I’ve been reading this series from the beginning, and found the early books to be excellent, a few of the books in the middle to be merely pretty good, and the last couple to be back on their way to excellent again. And some pretty timely mysteries too.
