There are three books and a bonus novella in this month’s Kindle First program that fit (loosely) with the theme of this blog, which focuses on mostly mysteries. Loosely, because three of the four appear to be quite thriller-ish, which is usually not my thing. Still, YMMV, and if you belong to Amazon Prime, you can choose both the novella and one of the other three as freebies, through May 31, 2025. Or you could choose one of four other novels from other genres, or a kid’s picture book.
The three full-length mysteries/thrillers are:
- No Lie Lasts Forever, described as a “serial killer thriller”, by Mark Stevens
- Bald-Faced Liar, by Victoria Helen Stone, described as “women’s psychological fiction”
- Homemaker is the first in the Prairie Nightingale series by Ruthie Knox and Annie Mare, and its description pretty much identifies it as a cozy
And finally, Freida McFadden’s Death Row is a novella that is part of Alibis, a collection of stories about lies, truth, and deception.
Find all of the choices, mystery or not, at the Kindle First Reads webpage.
