Simon Brett is now on his umpteenth new series – this time, the Major Bricket series, whose webpage describes said Major as “[a] not-so-amateur sleuth from a peaceful English village with an alarmingly high death rate”. Major Bricket and the Circus Corpse is the first, and so far, only, title in the series and it’s on sale at Kindle UK for £0.99. It’s not yet on sale at Kobo UK, but probably will be, since most of the Kindle Daily Deal titles get price matched there sometime during the day. Or you can probably price-match it.
