I am slightly embarrassed to admit that I know very little about the history of the Philippines, other than a few scant mentions waaaay back in my high school world history class. But now here’s my chance to fill the gap…A History of the Philippines: From Indios Bravos to Filipinos by Luis H. Francia, who is a prof at NYU, is on sale at Kindle US. Now I have to decide whether to spend $3.99 on this right now though, or put it on eReaderIQ for $2.99, since it’s been on sale at that price a couple of times in the not-too-distant past. Decisions, decisions! Either way, though, if I see it on sale for less in the future, I’ll come back and update in the comments…
