Simon Brett’s Mrs Pargeter series is my second-favorite of his series, after the Blotto & Twinks books. And now it seems that Brett must have gotten the rights back to some of the early titles, because the first four have come out in Joffe Books e-book editions. Which is a good thing, since Joffe tends to put books on sale pretty often, and Joffe books are usually pretty reasonably priced to start with anyway. (And if you have a KU subscription, they are all KU as well…)
Now here’s the first book in the series, A Nice Class of Corpse, on sale for $0.99/£0.99 in the US/UK.
