A Superior Death is the second in Nevada Barr’s Anna Pigeon series, set in various National Parks throughout the US. I’ve really enjoyed most of the titles in this series, including this one. It’s on sale for $1.99 right now at Kindle and Kobo US. Also, the first book in the series, Track of the Cat is at a semi-permanent $2.99, which is pretty reasonably priced. So right now, for less than $5, you can try the first two in the series.
