I haven’t read A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes, which is a retelling of the Trojan War putting “the women, girls and goddesses at the center of the Western world’s great tale ever told”. But it looks really intriguing, and has some great recommendations, including from Madeline Miller, the author of Circe. And I liked the sample.
