Joan Wolf is one of a very few current romance writers I follow – i.e. writers other than Georgette Heyer and Mary Stewart :-). And she’s probably my favorite among them. High Meadow is one of Joan Wolf’s modern-day romances, and it’s somewhere up among my favorites of hers. Not right at the top, but close. It has dropped to $1.99/£0.99 in the US/UK respectively. The blurb on its webpage doesn’t do it justice, IMO…
