I Dreamed I Married Perry Mason is the first in the Cece Caruso series by Susan Kandel. This book is up there in the great title category IMO, along with The Cannibal Who Overate, I Still Miss My Man (but My Aim Is Getting Better), and, although not a mystery, I Could Pee on This: And Other Poems by Cats ?.
In any case, Dreamed is not just a great title – it was a finalist for the 2004 Agatha Award for Best First Novel back when first published. It’s kind of a fun cozy, and it’s $1.99 in the US right now.
