The Emperor’s Exile is the nineteenth and most recent in Simon Scarrow’s Cato and Macro (aka Eagles of the Empire) series. It is on sale today, February 8, 2021, for £0.99 at Kindle UK, as part of today’s Daily Deal. It’s probably for today only, since when recent titles go on sale in the UK like this, it’s usually one day only. And then it can be quite a while before they drop in price again. So grab it now if you want it. Even though it’s not really a mystery series any more, I’m still quite fond of this series – you can read a bit more about it on Scarrow’s website here.

If you haven’t read Simon Scarrow’s Cato/Macro series (officially known as the Eagles of the Empire series) yet, and you like historical fiction, you may want to give it a try. And right now, you can do so at a good price in the UK, since an omnibus of the first three titles is £4.99 at Kindle UK. That’s only £1.66 each if you need all three.
