The Last Chance Olive Ranch is the next-to-next-to-most recent (pubbed in 2017, I’m not counting them all to figure out what number in the series it is!) in the China Bayles series by Susan Wittig Albert. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US as of today (May 4, 2021). This is a fun series, and titles in this series don’t go on sale all that often, so grab it if you want it!
Titles in Susan Wittig Albert’s China Bayles series almost never go on sale. Now here is a fairly recent title, the 24th, Blood Orange, on sale in the US ($1.99) and UK (£1.49). Nice!
I read a bunch of these in the early days of the series in the days of “real paper” books and liked them a lot. But, I’ve kind of lost track of the series since I’ve moved to e-books, and as mentioned above, they almost never go on sale in e-book. So I’ll enjoy catching up a bit, I think…

Neither £2.99 nor $4.99 is a particularly good sale price for 12-year-old backlist, but Susan Wittig Albert’s books so rarely go on sale, and eReaderIQ doesn’t show this one ever on sale for less, so here you go if you want it!
And it is an enjoyable series, IMO…

Again, a book on sale at $4.99/£2.99 in the US/UK – not great prices but better than anything seen in the past (by eReaderIQ, at least)….
