I really really like Margaret Frazer’s Dame Frevisse series, and I’m also pretty fond of her Joliffe series. Unfortunately titles in these series don’t go on sale very often – sigh! Now, however, the first title in each series is on sale for $3.99 each. Not a great sale price, and if you like them, the rest may be sort of pricey. But still, both are good series, especially the Dame Frevisse ones…

The Novice’s Tale is $1.99 in the US right now. And most of the rest of the series seems to have dropped a bit in price, mostly to $4.99 which is too high IMO for old backlist, but not the $7.99 to $8.99 I was remembering. And The Novice’s Tale is also only £0.99 at Kindle UK, where some of the other books in the series are in the £2 – £4 range.
