Stargazer is the sixth and most recent (2021) in Anne Hillerman’s continuation of her father’s long-running Leaphorn/Chee/Manuelito series. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. I’m not always fond of continuation series, but this one is pretty well done. Anne has switched the main emphasis of the series to Bernie Manuelito, while keeping Leaphorn and Chee in the mix, and I think it works well.

If you missed Stargazer at $1.99 a few months ago, it’s on sale today for $2.99 as part of the US Kindle Daily Deal, matched at Kobo US. That’s still not bad for a 2021 next-to-most-recent-in-series book. The links in the OP are still good.

I’ve enjoyed all of the continuation books that I’ve read, which is most, but not quite all of them. There is more emphasis on Jim Chee and Bernie Manuelito (who wasn’t a major character in the original series), but very much a similar feel.
