I’ve mentioned before that I really like Ruth Downie’s Gaius Petreius Ruso/Tilla series, set in Roman Britain (and around the Roman empire of the time). I’m especially fond of Tilla’s character, even though she doesn’t get top billing. Now all eight of the books in the series are on sale in an omnibus. The titles are: Medicus (apa Ruso and the Disappearing Dancing Girls), Terra Incognita (apa Ruso and the Demented Doctor), Persona Non Grata (apa Ruso and the Root of All Evils), Caveat Emptor (apa Ruso and the River of Darkness), Simper Fidelis, Tabula Rasa, Vita Brevis, and Memento Mori. The only missing title is a novella, Prima Facie.
The omnibus is $3.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, but it’s also discountable at Kobo, so if you use the “partners” discount code, you get 40% off. That’s cheap enough to buy it even if you only need one more, much less if you need more…
