Joffe’s free book today is a “gripping historical adventure”: Pearl of the Orient by Christopher Nicole. It’s the first in his Pearl of the Orient series.
I do wish Joffe would ease off on the all the “gripping” and “thrilling” and “heartwarming” extra adjectives in their descriptions. Or at least use some adjectives that actually provide some info about the book. I wonder if that stuff works – presumably Joffe thinks it does. But they pretty much just annoy me. Oh well, rant now over…
