Midnight Come Again is the tenth in Dana Stabenow’s Kate Shugak series – a series which I mostly like, but occasionally hate, as in the book before this one, and in Bad Blood, near the end of the series, where Stabenow ended on a ridiculously blatant cliff-hanger, and then took four years to come out with the next book. And an author of her caliber doesn’t need to play tricks like that.
Still, I keep reading the series, because most of them are great…
Midnight has dropped to $1.99 in the US and Stabenow’s books don’t go on sale that often in the US, and are really expensive (especially the later ones) when not on sale, so grab it if you want it. (Note there were some omnibuses of lots of Kate Shugak titles on sale many years ago, so check carefully before you buy…)
