Naughty In Nice is the fifth in the Royal Spyness series by Rhys Bowen. The series features Lady Victoria Georgiana Charlotte Eugenie (aka Lady Georgie), 34th (more or less) in line to the throne and perpetually flat-broke, who ends up doing various little “favors” for Queen Mary. And somehow the little favors always turn into crime investigations.
Although this series is pretty insanely cute, I still enjoy it and find it to be a lot of fun. And apparently at least a few other folks agree with me, because, per SYKM, the series has picked up a quite a few nominations/wins of various awards. (There is a bit of seriousness in the way it deals with the tensions of the time leading up to WWII.)
