Kindle has ten books from around the world available for free in honor of World Book Day. The books will be free for a bit more than nine days from now – right now it’s Monday afternoon, April 18, on the US Pacific coast. Or, if you can’t figure that out (!!!), there’s a countdown timer at the top of the page.
Here’s the link to the page in the US. And, if you are in some other country, there’s a drop-down list in the top middle of the page, where you can choose your own country.
The titles include:
The Puma Years: A Memoir, by Laura Coleman
The Ardent Swarm: A Novel, by Yamen Manai
North to Paradise: A Memoir, by Ousman Umar
Where the Desert Meets the Sea: A Novel, by Werner Sonne
An Eye for an Eye, Detective Kate Young Book 1, by Carol Wyer
The Other Man, by Farhad J. Dadyburjor
The Easy Life in Kamusari, Forest Book 1, by Shion Miura
Mother Dear: A Thriller, by Nova Lee Maier
To the Sky Kingdom, by Tang Qi
The Caiman, by María Eugenia Manrique
And…several of them have companion audiobook versions available for $1.99 each.
