The Pot Thief Who Studied the Woman at Otowi Crossing is the ninth and most recent (2020) in the Pot Thief series by J. Michael Orenduff. I’ve really enjoyed this series over the years – it hits a bunch of my favorite themes: archeology, the American Southwest (where my dad’s family is from), some good laughs, and a bit of murder, of course. And this book specifically was a finalist for the 2021 Lefty Award for Best Humorous Mystery. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, and is discountable at Kobo!
Both Volume One and Volume Two of the Pot Thief mysteries are on sale right now for $3.99 each at both Kindle and Kobo US, and they are discountable at Kobo US. Both go on sale pretty often, sometimes even at $2.99, but $3.99 is still not a bad price if you need all three of the books in either volume. And I’ve not seen both on sale at the same time before. So if you want to get two-thirds of the series at one fell swoop, now’s your chance!
Volume One contains The Pot Thief Who…Studied Pythagoras, Studied Ptolemy, and Studied Einstein. Volume Two contains The Pot Thief Who… Studied Escoffier, Studied D. H. Lawrence, and Studied Billy the Kid.
