The Third Nero is the fifth book in Lindsey Davis’s spin-off Flavia Albia series, which features Falco’s daughter, Flavia Albia, following in her father’s footsteps as an investigator. I’ve enjoyed this new series just as much as the original, which is a good thing, because Davis seems to be done with Falco – Nemesis, published more than a decade ago, sort of had a bit of a feel of a “wrap-up” and that’s how it has turned out to be.
In any case, Nero has dropped to $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. The later Lindsey Davis titles don’t go on sale all that often, so grab it if you want it!
Pandora’s Boy is the sixth in the Flavia Albia series. It’s on sale for $2.99 right now in the US.

A Capitol Death is the seventh and next-to-most-recent (2019) in the Flavia Albia series by Lindsey Davis. At least, anyway, until the newest book comes out this July… Capitol has dropped to $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US.

A Comedy of Terrors is the ninth and most recent (earlier this year) in the this series. It has dropped to £4.99 at Kindle UK, which is still a little pricey for me, but is a lot better than the £9.99/$14.99 it has been since publication in the UK/US. Still, if you want to read it, but you are 289th on the waiting list at your local library, this might work for you!

If you haven’t yet tried the spin-off Flavia Albia series by Lindsey Davis, here’s a not-very-imaginatively titled omnibus of the first three books, The Flavia Albia Collection 1-3, on sale at Kindle UK for £0.99. The included titles are: Ides of April, Enemies at Home, and Deadly Election. Although I’m sometimes kind of “meh” about spin-off series, I like this one as much as Davis’ original Falco series.
