I’ve really enjoyed the Temeraire books, by Naomi Novik, and now here’s the first in the series, His Majesty’s Dragon, on sale for $1.99 in the US. This is a fun series (although with occasional serious moments) that reminds me of a cross between Bernard Cornwell’s Sharpe books for the military elements and Anne McCaffery’s Pern series for the dragons. Oh, and add a good dose of steam-punk to the mix as well.

Now there’s an omnibus of the first three books in Temeraire series on sale for $2.99 in the US. That’s still a good price even if you already bought the first book when it was on sale by itself a couple of years ago. The second Temeraire book by Naomi Novik, Throne of Jade, is on sale in the US for $1.99, until the end of the day today (April 6). These books are usually $12.99-ish in the US, and when they go on “sale” it’s for $5.99 or $7.99. So if you want this one, grab it fast. As I mentioned above, I loved this series. Which, however, I mostly read from my library 😀…
Also keep in mind that there was an omnibus of the first three books in the series on sale a while back – see the comment just above. So check carefully before you buy…
