As I’ve mentioned before a time or two, I’m a huge fan of the Great Game period of history, and now here is Mapping the Great Game: Explorers, Spies and Maps in 19th-Century Asia, by Riaz Dean, on sale at Kindle US for $2.99, as part of today’s Daily Deal. I’m not sure how well this will work on my phone, where I usually read, but where maps also are tough to see. But I also have a nice tablet (!!!), and I suspect it’ll look pretty good on that. I haven’t heard of the author before, but the book gets 4.4 stars at Kindle and 4.3 stars at GoodReads.
