Julie Moffett’s Lexi Carmichael series is mostly pretty cozy, although with touches of thriller, which maybe makes sense for a series whose protagonist is a computer geek (cozy) who works for the National Security Agency (thriller). But either way, it’s a lot of fun if you’re in the mood for something light-hearted. And the series books do go on sale from time-to-time, although even on sale, they often are a bit more than I like to spend. But with time and some patience, I’ve managed to pick up many of them, all of which start with “No” in the title. And I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve read, so if I see any more on sale, I’ll post here.
Right now, though, there is a “bonus book”, No Comment, available for free. It’s not one of the series books, or even a prequel. Instead it’s a pretend “interview” with Lexi herself, and also has an “interview” with the protagonist of one of Moffet’s other series, the “White Knights” series.
