If you are reading this, on a website called Mostly Mysteries, then you are probably already very well aware of Dorothy L Sayers. If not, take a look at her Wikipedia page here. Although some elements in some of her books may rub a bit against modern day mores, she is still one of the great Golden Age mystery writers. And now here is an omnibus of the first three titles in her her Lord Peter Wimsey (and Harriet Vane) series on sale in the US for $3.99 at Kindle US, which is a pretty nice price for three books.
Keep in mind though that the first title, Whose Body?, is in the public domain in the US, and can be found at Project Gutenberg US. And all three titles, including also Clouds of Witness and Unnatural Death (apa: The Dawson Pedigree), as well as several more in the series, are public domain if you are lucky enough to live in or visit Canada, and also a few other countries. They can be found at Project Gutenberg Canada. So…up to you to do the math as to whether $3.99 is worth it…

Dorothy L. Sayers’s Peter Wimsey books are e-pubbed by Open Road, and go on sale so often that I don’t post the individual titles any more. But this is still a pretty good deal – an omnibus with four Wimsey (and Harriet Vane!) books for $1.99, which usually goes on sale for $2.99 or $3.99, or even $4.99. And it’s on sale and discountable at Kobo US too, where “Partners22”, for 40% off, was still working as of last night. Which would bring the four down to $1.19, or about $0.30 each. And even a bit less if you have a Kobo VIP membership, which stacks with the coupon code. Woo-hoo!

The Lord Peter Wimsey Mysteries Volume Two omnibus is on sale for $4.99 at Kindle US right now. That’s not quite as nice a price as when it was $1.99 several months ago, but still pretty good if you need all four, or even three. The link in the comment just above is still good. Sadly, the omnibus is not on sale at Kobo US right now.
Murder Must Advertise is about half-way through the Lord Peter series. It’s an Open Road book, so goes on sale a lot, but right now it’s on sale for $0.99 in the US, which is unusually low even for Open Road, so I’m posting. (And it’s discountable at Kobo US…)
